Why are juices expensive?
We start with the best ingredients we can find. We then use a strict cleaning process to ensure safety. Finally, we use a proprietary process that reintroduces the fiber back into the juice. When you consider the quality of the product and the time and effort used to produce one bottle... it is actually not expensive at all.
What is your process?
We start with the freshest and best quality ingredients. We put them through a strict washing process. Once they are ready for juicing we use a masticating machine that uses tonnage to extract juice slowly. Unlike centrifugal (traditional) juicers that use high speed that oxidate and heat the juices, which can lead to nutrient loss. Once we have extracted the juice we take a small portion and slow blend it with the fiber produced will juicing. This creates a smooth, yet fiber filled juice, without heating the juice and losing nutrients. The finished product is a smooth, delicious and nutrient packed beverage. Which has enough fiber to slow the digestive process and maximize intended benefits.
Can I consume the products if I am lactose intolerant or gluten sensitive?
Absolutely! Our juices are gluten free and contain no dairy!
Why do you use plastic bottles?
The good news is we offer glass bottle option, if you request it with your order. We use a BPA free plastic bottle because of feedback we received. Although the glass bottle is ideal, it is very heavy to carry around several bottles daily.
Why RAW and not pasteurized?
Early on in our business we did offer High Pressure Pasteurization (HPP). However it altered the taste and quality of our juices. When we went back and did further research, we found that HPP actually does heat up the juices. This leads to nutrient loss. In addition, the HPP allows for juices to sit on a shelf up to 60 days. This seemed wrong to us on a fundamental level. The longer a juice stays on a shelf, the less nutrients you are receiving. We decided to go back to our roots, back to RAW and offer our customers the best possible product we could offer.
